Reduc Micro 17
Micro 17 is an acoustic overlay flooring system suitable for use on new and existing timber and concrete floors. The substrate layers of moisture-resistant fibreboard and MDF board are separated by visco-elastic sound damping strips. The underside incorporates a resilient layer of acoustic felt, which provides mechanical isolation from the existing floor structure. Micro 17 is 17mm thick and is designed to damp vibration and attenuate both airborne sound and impact noise passing through floors with minimal loss in room height. When installed over an existing timber floor with SoundSlab between the joists, it complies with conversion requirements of the Building Regulations. It can exceed new build and conversion standards when used in conjunction with Isolation Bars to de-couple the ceiling below.
Reduc Micro 21
Nominal 21mm thick high performance acoustic overlay flooring product suitable for use on existing timber floors. Designed to damp vibration and attenuate both airborne sound and impact noise passing through floors with minimal loss in room height. The substrate layers of moisture-resistant MDF and cement particle board separated by visco-elastic sound damping strips. The underside incorporates a resilient layer of acoustic felt, which provides mechanical isolation from the existing floor structure. When installed over an existing timber floor with SoundSlab between the joists, it complies with conversion requirements of the Building Regulations. It can exceed new build and conversion standards when used in conjunction with SoundBreaker
Reduc Strata
Strata is a high performance acoustic overlay flooring system suitable for use on new and existing timber and concrete floors. The top layer of moisture-resistant fibreboard is separated from the bottom layer of chipboard by visco-elastic sound damping strips. The underside incorporates a resilient layer of acoustic felt, which provides mechanical isolation from the existing floor structure. Strata is 35mm thick and is designed to damp vibration and attenuate both airborne sound and impact noise passing through floors. When installed over an existing timber floor with SoundSlab between the joists, it complies with new build and conversion requirements of the Building Regulations. It can exceed requirements when used in conjunction with Isolation Bars to de-couple the ceiling below.
Reduc Strata Extea
Strata Extra is a high performance acoustic overlay flooring system suitable for use on new and existing timber and concrete floors. The top layer of moisture-resistant fibreboard isolated from a dense layer of cement particle board by visco-elastic sound damping strips. The underside incorporates a resilient layer of acoustic felt, which provides mechanical isolation from the existing floor structure. Strata Extra is 35mm thick and is designed to damp vibration and attenuate both airborne sound and impact noise passing through floors. When installed over an existing timber or concrete floor it exceeds new build and conversion requirements of the Building Regulations. Acoustic performance can be further enhanced when used with Isolation Bars to de-couple the ceiling below.
Reduc Foundation 35 and 39
Foundation 35 and 39 are high performance structural or overlay acoustic flooring systems suitable for use on new and existing timber and concrete floors. They comprise two layers of moisture-resistant chipboard, separated by visco-elastic sound damping strips, with an acoustic felt on the underside. Foundation 35 and 39 are 35mm and 39mm thick respectively to suit up to 450mm or 600mm joist centres and are designed to damp vibration and attenuate airborne and impact noise passing through floors.
Whether installed as a structural or overlay floor on existing timber or concrete floors they exceed new build and conversion standards of the Building Regulations. Acoustic performance can be further enhanced by incorporating Isolation Bars to de-couple the ceiling below.
Soundslab
SoundSlab is a non-combustible, high performance acoustic slab manufactured from mineral wool with an inorganic binder. It is designed to help reduce sound transmission through walls, ceilings and floors and heat loss through the external fabric of a building. SoundSlab is moisture resistant and dimensionally stable under varying conditions of temperature and humidity. It is available in a range of thicknesses to suit different applications.
When used in conjunction with Reduc acoustic flooring products and Isolation Bars it can meet and exceed the Building Regulation requirements.
